Bear Hunts & Fishing
Black Bear / Fishing Combo
Saskatchewan has a thriving black bear population, making it an ideal destination for hunters. Year after year Saskatchewan produces record book bears, providing incredible trophy potential for spring hunts, with a good percentage of highly sought after color phase bruins.
We offer archery or gun hunts from ladder stands and ground blinds, over baits placed in natural travel corridors. We’re licensed for 50 tags each season but limit ourselves to 18–20 hunters a year — backed by a nearly 100% shot opportunity and a 90% harvest rate.

Fishing
Fishing at George Lake
Welcome to George Lake Camp, 89 air miles northwest of La Ronge, Saskatchewan — accessible only by float plane, on a beautiful sand beach in a peaceful pine and birch setting.
George Lake has been under a trophy management program since 2003, loaded with northern pike and lake trout regularly running 35 inches and up, with catches topping 50 inches. We practice catch and release on larger fish, with plenty of good eating size for our camp fish frys. For walleye, we maintain boats on a 900-acre neighboring lake, with day trips offered at no additional cost.

Comfortable Lakeside Lodging
George Lake Camp boasts a 1,000 sq. ft. main lodge cabin building which serves as our living, dining and kitchen area. Guest accommodations are in new lakefront cabins along a picturesque sandy beach.
