Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring for my trip?
Our camp is located in remote Northern Saskatchewan and is accessible only by float plane, so packing right matters. A detailed packing list is provided after booking, covering layered outdoor clothing, rain gear, and footwear suited to your specific hunt or fishing trip.
How do I get to camp?
Fly into Saskatoon, SK, then take a rental car to reach La Ronge, SK. From there, you’ll board a float plane for the trip to George Lake — accessible only by air.
What species do you hunt?
Guided black bear hunts, conducted over bait from ladder stands and ground blinds, by archery or rifle. Saskatchewan has an unusually strong color phase population — chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde bears — alongside standard black bears.
What fishing is available?
What is included?
Do I need hunting experience?
No — beginners and experienced hunters are equally welcome.
What is your harvest success?
Nearly 100% shot opportunity and around a 90% harvest success rate, year after year.
How many hunters do you take?
We’re licensed for 50 black bear tags a season but intentionally limit ourselves to 18–20 hunters a year, to keep hunting pressure low and trophy opportunity high.
Can non-hunters come along?
How do I reserve my trip?
